Sally Steinborn
Culinary marvel turned author, Sally Steinborn brings her flair and expertise to her debut novel Haute Cuisine Hell. Her blend of creativity and meticulous consideration for the written word lends a unique perspective to her work. Sally earned a BS in Journalism and an MA in Education.
While living in San Francisco, she owned two restaurants, and later went on to teach culinary arts for over 25 years. Although this is her first novel, she has always had a passion for writing.
When she isn’t busy tapping away at her keyboard, you might find Sally in the kitchen drafting up new recipes or taking her dog Izzie for a walk along the beach.
I will be swimming for a few 30-minute sessions in open water this August. The St. Clair River, to be exact, one the fastest flowing rivers in the world. The river forms part of the international boundary between Canada and the United States. The river is an essential part of the Great Lakes Waterway system. The shipping channels permit cargo vessels to travel between the upper and lower Great Lakes.
